Science: A review packet is being sent
home today. This is DUE ON FRIDAY.
This week we will focus on mixtures and solutions and the three states of
matter (pages 93-100). Not only is this packet an important science lesson and
review of the unit we just learned, it also reinforces valuable reading and
writing strategies. Remember, if your child is having difficulty, he/she is
encouraged to attend a 5th grade teacher’s extra help session. The
FINAL Mixtures and Solutions TEST will be this WEDNESDAY. A study guide is going home with your child that has
everything he/she will need to know for the test.
Social
Studies: We
are wrapping up our unit on government in the History Alive book (chapters 14 & 15). All tests are open
notes/book. Students are encouraged to find the evidence in the text.
