Why is helping others so important? At Buffalo Trail, we believe in showing generosity to our community and giving back to those with needs. A great way to do this is by collecting spare change for our annual Penny Harvest. We will be collecting throughout the months of October and November. Don’t forget that there will be lots of incentives for classes that donate to this great cause. In addition, if you have any gently used coats that you no longer use, would you please consider bringing them to school to donate them to the Coats for Colorado campaign? We will be collecting coats for the rest of the week. Let’s make sure to represent the 5th grade and make our school community proud! Thank you!
Report cards will go home Friday, October 19. Information about Powerschool usernames and passwords will be sent home in the Thursday folder next week. Also be on the lookout for information regarding Parent/Teacher conferences, which will take place the week we get back from fall break.
A NOTE ABOUT HOMEWORK: Students should spend no more than 50 minutes of homework each night. If this is not the case, please contact us because students may need extra support in learning concepts or time management skills. Below you will find your homework for the week. Everything is due on Friday so be sure to budget your time accordingly. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great week and a WONDERFUL FALL BREAK! See you November 5! J
